In 1959, Denny Motors didn’t much look like Applewood Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC. Back then it was a combination of a small GM dealership and a BA gas station located on Tannery Street in Streetsville. It wasn’t until owners Harold Shipp, Bert Grant and John MacDonald saw an opportunity to combine their businesses that they renamed their small dealership Applewood Motors Ltd. But as with any great small businesses, it too, grew. In 1979, they packed up their growing business and moved it to its current location in Mississauga’s Erin Mills Auto Center. In 2006, it was purchased by one of Canada’s largest dealer groups, the Humberview Group. The Humberview Group represents almost every automotive manufacturer and has now had 20 stores throughout the province.

We’ve modernized our facilities to provide you with a comfortable sales and service experience. We completed earlier in 2018 and hope you enjoy the transformation!
