The C8 Corvette Stingray Is Coming To Mississauga

After years of waiting and plenty of impatient talk, fans are finally on the verge of driving the car of their dreams: The 2020 C8 Chevrolet Stingray.

There’s a lot to talk about. Let’s get started.

Power and Speed

The C8 is not just about good looks, it’s about stunning speed as well. Starting with an outrageous 500 horsepower, Chevy promises that even higher-performance mid-range models are in the cards. Chevrolet says that the Corvette will go 0-96 km/h in less than 3 seconds when equipped with the Z51 package.

Technology

The Corvette Stingray comes packed with literally dozens of technological features. For example, the car comes with a Performance Data Recorder. This feature allows drivers to record their performance, making it easier to beat lap times and other benchmarks. Another great touch is that the C8 can be set to six driving modes, including Weather, Tour, Sport, Track and MyMode (individually configurable mode).

Appearance

Chevy is putting a lot into ensuring that this car sets the standard for good looks, but those looks double as purpose-driven. For example, door handles and latches have been hidden to ensure improved aerodynamics. The mid-engine design also adds weight to the rear end where it matters most.
